suri van sornsen, was born in laren, the netherlands. the middle of 2, (she has a younger sister named kiara and an older sister named michelle). after finishing high school she studied law at the university of amsterdam. in addition to her extraordinary educational skills, her heart had always been beating for the big stage. she started dancing ballet at the age of 4 and continued this for 15 years. Next to ballet she took acting lessons and was an ambitioned gymnast at an early age.

both of her parents are a mix of cultures, which led to her love of travel, and her ethereal presence in the modeling industrie. after being discovered as a model by elite models at a fashion event in holland, she had been working as an internationally renowned top model around the world. highly coveted in runways, major editorials and advertising campaigns such as cartier, voyage and guess jeans just to mention a few. with a face and a presence like hers, she also had been starring in various numbers of tv commercials, videoclips and tv programs worldwide.

after modeling for a couple of years, she started to get more involved into acting.in spring 2006 she landed her first role in the hollywood block buster 10.000 B.C. (scheduled for release in 2008) directed by no other than roland emmerich. the movie was filmed in new zealand and south africa starring camilla belle, steven strait, tim barlow and omar sharif. not content on beeing a model, actress, and tv-host, she finished writing, directing and co-starring her own tv-series on the side of celine prins for a new MTV show, that will be broad casted in summer 2007. currently suri is in the process of moving to new york city where she will continue to follow her ambition as a model, actress, writer, world traveller and most importantly, as a young woman that knows what she wants and enjoys every moment of her turbulent life. im sure the story of suri van sornsen will be updated again soon...
